Basic Summary
Legend is a panfandom RP designed to connect multiple people and give them a common playing area to interact. Through the interface of a video game (or whatever it would be called in one's home world), characters can meet, form friendships, and explore the strange world of Legend, attempting to learn its secrets as things start to change.

Setting
There are two settings in the game which characters can interact in. One is their canon world, which will include any other characters who have been apped. The other setting is Legend itself, which is going to be the primary location of interaction. It is the game world, and characters are able to come and go as they please, whether the're there to play or simply talk to others. Legend has an email system integrated into it, for those worlds that don't have that sort of technology, which means that Legend players can contact each other using the Legend client, but not needing to be logged into the game. There is a forum as well, where news and updates to the game will be posted and characters can interact as well.

The Game System
No matter what sort of world the character lives in, Legend has managed to insinuate itself in an appropriate form. Whether it's a magical spell on one's mind to put them into a sort of trance state, an actual video game, or a weird spirit clouding one's mind, Legend will be there. The game itself is free, so all one has to do is sign up. The game interface handles any and all translation issues for the people who play, so there are no times when people cannot communicate with each other while playing. There is appropriate documentation depending on the form the game takes so that characters know how to actually play the game... if they care to read.

Moderators
Legend has a full complement of Administrators and Moderators. The Administrators are the ones who actually control how the game goes, while the Moderators serve as the in-between for the Administrators and players. Issues are to be brought up to the Moderators, who will decide ultimately if the issue is worth bringing up to the Game Masters or if they can deal with it themselves. Moderators have control over the game systems and can implement a variety of changes, close off areas, alter inventories, delete objects in the game environment, and other such abilities. They can also ban characters, change account information, and otherwise affect the "real-world" aspects of characters' interactions with the game. Moderators make very bad enemies, so it is recommended to stay on their good side. Whether they can be killed in-game is unknown as no one has succeeded. No one has actually met any of the Administrators, so little is known about them.
